I was just reading that issue the other day. Every now and then I dig through my vintage atv magazines and pull a few out to read for the 38,000th time. it never gets old....or does it??

Thanks dcreel, that old stuff makes me feel pretty good. The only 2 things I remember from that magazine was seeing how much the 250r looks like a dirtbike and, this is funny, I remember the Loretta Lynn ranch article, my mom was a fan of hers, so I showed her the article. (Don't tell anyone -k-?) And my buddy got the tri-moto. That was a great little quad.

I never knew Frank's made a frame, swingarm, and triple tree combo for the Tecate. I also never knew Frank's made a race trike for Jimmy White. Something else to keep my eyes peeled for.

It's funny when you look at the prices in the adds. Most of the stuff is a lot cheaper than current prices, but what suprized me is the tire prices are on par with today's. I was only 3 when that issue came out, must have been exciting times seeing what the atv/atc companies were going to come up with next. Brings back good memories of my previous atc's. Thanks for posting it.

Thanks for posting all that. Wow that sure puts me back to when I was 10 drooling about them. Now 25 years laiter I have 2 250r's and they are the coolest things there are.
