Most good machine shops can easily straighten them. There is a shop not to far from me that fixes mine for $30 each, but many shops charge more...around $70.

The 200x is probably hondas most produced sport trike. They are all over. Tons of used parts. Have you tried posting a "want ad" in the classifieds or have you seen if anyone is offering any for sale? Have you searched to see if anyone on here is offering axle straightening services. I knew at one time one or 2 members were. I would start with either of these 2 options first. There are other alternatives, but I don't want that to get out of hand though. Best of luck in your search.

If you can't find anything, I can straighten it fairly well............

83-85 axles are the same. There are 14 of them on ebay right now. Take your pick and be done with it. 83-85 200x parts are some of the most plentiful out there.

And in my experience the 83-85 200x also had the easiest to bend axle in hondas line up.....buy 2.

if you cant afford a new one, I would send it to DC to fix

from a guy who`s purchased three "straight and perfect axles" from Ebay and one off this forum and got two bent axles and two with gouged/trashed seal seats and/or threads out of the deals....I would steer away from buying another used one from someone you don`t know unless the pics are closeup and very detailed....one guy`s idea of "straight" and another`s could be .200 runout at the hubs or better...I`ll pay someone to straighten one or just buy new before I buy another used axle for a 200X...I have three first gen 200Xs and there are two parts i would never buy used for an X...brakes,or rear axles

pay to have it fixed right or buy a new one...in my opinion

True story on the easily bent 200x axles. I built this rig in 1985, (Actually, I helped (watched) my grandfather build it, I was 14) for the sole purpose of straightening an X axle. Just add some oak blocks and a good bottle jack. We also made a jig out of wooden v-blocks to check the roll out, our dial indicator was a nail driven into the end of a 2x6. Took a while, but we got it straight. My Grandad was old school, all the education that really mattered, I got it watching him. - BTW, I used it this summer (with some mods) to press the mains out of my Tecate engine.
