Advice wanted please

Hi I was just wondering if I change my magneto on my Atc 110 1985 will it do anything with the timing as I need to change me magneto as I changed my casing and then I broke my magneto getting the flywheel off as I didn't have a puller then. I think it will be quite easy to put together now I have a puller . Thankyou regards Daniel

im pretty sure it wont have any effect. they get spark threw the CDI system up by the cam. the stator only gives lighting i think. could be wrong. so if u mess it up im guessing it will still run. but im really not sure
