Hi all.
New member here. Located in Indiana.
Looking at an 86 250sx.
$300
No spark
Front forks replaced with 200r
Rear mono shock replaced with heavier one for larger rider.
No front fender.
$300 fair price assuming it is coil or magneto or killswitch causing the no-fire situation?
Plastics are in rough shape.
Probably needs seat cover.
Not looking for a beauty queen...just something to tool around my property with.
No racing here. Too old for that.

thanks in advance

Looks like this one might have fallen thru. The guy can't meet me half way to pick up the trike. oh well..
Anyone selling a 250sx near Indiana/Kentucky?

Not to hijack your thread but does this guy live near W. Ky? I have an SX but plan on building it up and need a few parts. I found a 350x on craigslist fairly cheap. Keeping looking neighbor

I picked up an 85 250sx this weekend.
Different from the one I originally posted about.
Needs a tire plug replaced (or a newer used tire) and brakes adjusted.
Might replace the rear foot brake cable.
Starts and runs fine.
Well used, but not abused.
And the fun begins.

Good luck w/ it, they're fun bikes, good trailers & workhorses as well.

Congrats wicker! Glad to have you in the family. I have a plug kit we can use this weekend if I make it to the camp/ride. I have a set of 350x rear wheels and tires that we can work something out on if they will fit. I will have to check.
