tri z questions, yz490 carb on a z?

anyone know how well a 40mm mikuni carb from an 85ish yz490 would work on a z? im powervalving my z with an 83 yz250 cylinder, and the intake from a 490 looks like it will work as a bigger carb upgrade. is 40 a good size? and it has a built-in port for the boost bottle, should i use it or loose the bottle?

All the experiance I have with bigger carbs involves the 38mm Keihin I put on my Tecate 250. Nothing special about my motor and it seems to work fine for me. Hope that gives you some sort of baseline to go off of.
