I came across a sweet deal on a Chinese dirt bike with a Loncin OHV 163FML engine in it. The engine looks just like the OHV Lifans with the same ID. I got it dirt cheap because the carb is gunked up from sitting.
I put the battery on the Tender when I left for work today, cleaned the carb when I got home and put it back together. Electric start works great, idles great - very nice!
I plan to swap the engine and electrics into my 200x roller that did not come with an engine.
Has anybody swapped a honda XR or 200x clutch cover on one of these engines? I'd like to try it to get a brake pedal mount and forward kicker.
Any thoughts or experience here?
