wow, you do great work. I am always shocked at how some of you guys can get these bikes looking like the day they were rolled off the factory floor. Nice.

Ya Mike, one of them is the 1987 ATC200X right? I heard you have every NOS OEM part to build that model from the ground up.

yes one of them i the 87 200x I have just about every single part NOS to build that bike , its going to be a good one and for the most part will be fairly easy as everything is new ,
I have some other real cool ones to do but not real common
82 KLT200 green have almost all nos parts for that one I have never seen one of these done yet ugly as hell but i love the oddball stuff
83 ALT 125 tons of nos stuff
86 quadracer 250 (I know it has 4 wheels ) this one will be one for the books been collecting parts for nearly 8 years probably have more nos for this than the 200x , love this era quadracer
my 86 atc 250r again tons of nos but done a ton of these this will be last

talk to me in 10 years i bet i wont have all of these done , I am booked out over a year right now so fitting in my own stuff means something else is suffering as well as my income , and i run an excavating business plus have 3 kids that are into every sport so i spread myself out pretty thin . I like the challenge though (LOL)

I didnt catch this the first time around...but it sounds like you do these restorations as a small business type of deal? If so, I envy you. Again, nice work and I cant wait to see the final product.

very nice. how to you do the insides of the gas tanks? i have a 74 ATC 70 tank that is nice but that factory look on the inside is not there any more.

the inside of the tanks i do a couple of different things depending on the condition alot of tanks actually ramin perfect inside in that case nothing is done except a shot of wd-40 after all the body and paint are done , if they are badly rusty i mix a 50/50 batch of muriatic acid and water and fill the tank right to the top and let it sit for a day dump it out and rinse out the acidthis will get it down to bare clean metal then i use POR 15 gas tank sealant its a silver metalic colored sealant that coats the inside of the tank and if you follow there instructions is very durable and gives that new tank look inside , dont use that cream stuff looks like crap , thats what i do
