My Pastor Mamma sent me this. What's happening in this country is beyond the unlawful trike ban and closure of public land. I've known for sometime what could happen in this country, but 20 years ago, I didn't think all the things I have been taught would happen in my lifetime. Hard to swallow, our rights and beliefs have been flushed so quickly and easily. And we have no recourse to stop it spiraling out of control. How free will we be in 5 years? Will I even be allowed to ride a trike? My kids? Leave my state and travel to another to visit friends? Shucks, I wish I was oblivious to what is happening, and was never educated. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4KGlBHyVeYU

Crazy video, and even crazier painting. Amazing. What sucks is that it's true.

freedom is whats important, freedom is everything.everytime someone says the government should do something to help them or fix that we lose freedom.when it is gone it is gone forever.

I don't know if I entirely like or agree with that painting or not. I don't think that some of his depictions of where some of the presidents are showing thier interst is entirely accurate. I would really like to hear him explain why he depicted some of the presidents doing what they are doing.

seemed pretty clear to me if you know a little about the history of some of the key figures in that painting

Vealmonkey said 'or not'. He worded his reply very carefully. Vealmonkey wanted to know what made some of the presidents bought and paid for and some true American constitutionalists. Please don't turn this into a debate. RED-RIDE 250r knows his history, he has seen exactly what I seen and felt. RED-RIDE 250r is not under the impression of 'what president he liked' either, but the true goals and meaning of those presidential terms. I can see the study I have done on history and presidential terms, which is coincided with a Christian Mamma Pastor. Although I am not a good church goer', I can put them both together, that's why it shook me up a little. It was very bold for Jon McNaughton, because he is not political and a peaceful type of dude who will not rock the boat, it's usually his style to not offend.

It was not my intent to start a debate. My apologies. I was giving my opinion and the reason for it. No offense whatsoever intended against anyone.....very stirring painting indeed.....thanks for sharing it

I've studied some history and lived through some history. I'm just curious as to what the reasonings are through the painters eyes. Not everyone can accurately interpret what the painter meant. Just the fact alone that the painter chose a man sitting on a bench and not a woman or family is kind of unique unto itself.

I just got an email where they shut down a few corners in New York every Friday and allow Muslims to pray in the streets, BLOCKING all traffic.
When have Catholics been allowed to do that? They take in donations and have buildings to worship. Regardless of what they've done (I'm not interested in any religion) I cannot believe this is what it's come to.
Seems were losing this country real fast......

Yup, I see. Things usually don't get to deep in discussions on stuff like this. I was posting it, and it's kinda hard to be open, because it was: emotional? Not a political deal. Kinda hurts to see what is happening to our country. The dudes painting was inspirational (God), and that's a little to touchy to be talking about on certain sites. He wasn't looking at things in a totally political perspective, but what it is in his Christian heart. It's a little heavy, but like I said above, my Mom's a pastor and kinda her way of sayin'- 'see', because she already told my of these things in 1990-91. I hate to see that our country is floundering and wanted to see if folks I enjoy discussing other topics (3-wheelers) are concerned, as am I. And ya, why the dude on the bench? I don't get that either. I would have thought a young kid, our future, ......hmmmm?
