I am working on a 1980 Honda 185. The bike has recently had a new tank, filter, carb, cdi box, full exhaust, air filter spark plug, re-tensioned timing chain, oil change ect..
The bike runs ok at best for some reason it has a two-stroke sound, not like a normal 185. It sounds a little like it miss fire maybe every third time or so. My question is what to check next? I check the other cdi on the side engine and it test good.
When riding the bike it requires full throttle to get going and seems to hit the rev limiter early. If you keep shifting it keeps gaining speed very well. I just want it to have full power.
For the record im not good at spelling or grammar, lol.
