About 42 is what I've topped out on mine, which is a 1980 with a 1983 engine. Go for the SuperTrapp exhaust over the cobra :)

put 25" tires on it and it'll go even faster... or just buy a 250r if you want speed

Well if it makes you happy then thats what matters. I love trikes but don't have a problem with quads, i've had a few myself.

[haha a 16 year old on a 250r]

Its all about experience, my 12 year old son rides my RM250 from time to time (more of a fast paced putt around the trackyard, but that’s about what a 110 will do) but he started riding at 5, I rode my first Tecate at 13 or 14, once you learn the basics of riding and learn to stay within your capabilities it doesn’t really matter how big a bike/trike you ride... that being said you could break your neck on a 50 if you don't know what your doing... Those little "Only over 16" stickers are only there because people used to buy them as babysitters and never teach their kids the basic skills to ride them.

Rule #1 "Use your head before you use your throttle..."

That's way overpriced, even for a mint condition 250r. I always talk people down from what they're asking, and cold, hard cash in hand is VERY helpful ;)

BTW, a 250r will blow the wheels off of a 350 quad :)
