I am in dire need of a tank from this year 200x. I want to see how many people would be interested if I can find a company like clarke who would want to take on this project. Any input would be great as well as interest.

LONG TIME COMING!! These tanks are near impossible to find.....
I know 1987Honda200X is getting some plastic done as close to OEM as possible, but allot of guys need a plastic solution for the 86/87 200X.
Fullbore,Clarke or Maier - whatever it takes............

Well, I did this same deal on the green R fenders for the Tecates. I'm a Clarke and Wide open dealer. If we can get enough people together I will contact them and see if we can get these made at a cheaper price than full retail...

That's a great idea. I agree that many need a solution for hard to find tanks . I should hear from FullBore on the headlight bezels this week!

I believe I have an 86 tank. It has plenty of dings and scrapes, but still has shrouds, cap, and has minimal rust inside (might have petcock as well).

OK. Sorry wasn't sure. It's one I've had for like ten years. Anyway don't need it if anyone is interested. Sorry if I screwed up the thread.

How Can I get in on the headlight bezel? I joined the forum after the discussion.
I am going to try and call clarke about the gas tank for the 86-87. It is the only thing holding me back from buying another 86-87 200x. More people interested the better!

My guess is Fullore could reproduce a tank possibly but after they finish the headlight bezel. Once they sell and see there is enough interest then I am sure they will reproduce more parts.
