bent rim on an 85sx, any way to unbend them?

How bad is the rim bent? Is it just on the outside? I have seen a couple guys use an oxy torch, heat it until it glows red, and use a larger hammer to re shape the ding, but it still looks like hammered dog poop in the end . Otherwise, why not just buy a different rim? Is it just the 8 inch rim? They should be a dime a dozen you would think, and should be very cheap for a used one, and are also available new.

I have straightened alot of steel wheel lips without them looking like "like hammered dog poop in the end..." A decent body hammer and dolly will make short work of a dented lip. Remember, finesse, not beat the dog poop out of it....
