That was her 1st weekend aboard the 250R. Nice way to break it in..At least she tried to "wash it".

Those pics were from Elson St Park in Waynesburg down by Canton Ohio..Sometime in 2008 they got shut down to mining rights.
It was a really kickass place to ride..300 Acres, and some knarly hillclimbs, but they are closed now.

Mostly now we hit Wellsville down by the river South of Youngstown, or Lightning Raceway down past New Philly.
There is a place in Dover we want to scope, but it is small. Like 60 Acres.

ive heard mixed things about wellsville...some love it and some say its a hole....ive never been..they have nice trails to put around on? id like someplace i can take the gf (she has only riding my polaris once or twice) with out getting ran over or being in the way.

The mixed feelings are correct..People either love it or hate it.

Most of the ones that hate it, had a bad experience usually due to stupidity..Drunk, running WOT down the trails.
That dont mix down there..You will eat trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro..And those that had a bad time, usually had a bad time during a holiday weekend when it is just a clusterfuk of people.

We only go on off weekends.
Your girl can learn down there, but it isnt real forgiving.
Actually, that was the first place my wife ever rode back in like 95, and she can handle almost any terrain you put in front of her.
It is a great learning area, if you have respect, and dont go on the holidays.
But that place can and will, bite anyone, at anytime if you aint on your toes.
We have never really had any issues..Some bumps and bruises, but not the horror stories that some like to tell.
Be warned though...There is absolutely NO RULES..Anything goes.

No it is a really nice facilty.
They have about 300 acres with a trike friendly MX track.
There pics and vids of the track all over the place here.

The rest of the land is all trails much like Elson street was. Rocky rutted tight and technical.
They use the trails for Harescrambles.

They have camping, and offer free slabwood for fires.
But you need a chainsaw to cut it.

It is primitive camping with no water or electric, but you can take a motorhome. They have porta pots also.

You have to check his website, when they run Harescrambles or Races..If none are going on, it is a free weekend for trailriding.

They generally have quiet time at about 11 pm till Daylight, and they are really nice owners.
They only ask you respect what small simple rules they have and a HELMET is a MUST.
If you dont have one, they will not let you ride.
They are so nice, that someone forgot thier helmet, and they loaned them one of theirs, but I dont think they want to make that a regular practice..
