Hey guys, what size is stock as in rim size and size of tires, and what will work or what can I run on my 78 ATC 90. I say 78 because I'm swapping over the rims from my parts 78 to my balloon tire'd atc 90, but the tires are shot. Just wondering where the best deals are too.
Thanks, and I go on here everyday since I signed up to read and learn!

Ok, thanks harryredtrike, I did not know there was a manual I could download, thanks alot! So rockymountainatv is the cheapest place around for tires? I think everyone could benefit from this if that is the case!

Does 23x8x11 work because I can get them cheaper, and theyre only 1 inch taller, correct?

They should work fine. I got a 23x11x8 on the front of my 110.
23x11-8, you mean? Chances are, they're going to rub on the fenders. I think Chaparral Motorsports has free shipping on their tires. Check with them.
Also, HondaParts-Direct.com has a replacement tire for the '78 ATC90. http://hondaparts-direct.com/fiche_section_detail.asp?section=118552&category=ATVs&make=HONDA&year=1978&fveh=2836

They say the sizes are still 22x11x8 for the 78 though?

Okay, so maybe mine is a 22x11-8 :D
But there is plenty of room for a 23" tire on my 110, and won't rub even hauling at a break-neck 40mph :D
What year is your 110? Those old 90 fenders are super close to the tire already.

Has anyone tried the AMS blackwidow? Those look pretty mean. I'm thinking those 2 for the rear and save some extra cash and get the cheng shin front tire. Does it really make any difference to spend more money and get a better front tire? Has anyone tried that weird brand, does it hold up, or should I just buy a better front tire to go along with the 2 nice rear ones?

do those Black Widows come in 22-11-8? or atleast a 22 inch tire. from the quick picture look i did they seem like a 4x4 quad tire (25-8-12 type tire)
i have also heard ALOT of good about the Kenda front max as a front tire. the cheng shin will work though, its what i have on my big red i think, works fine

Ya, on denniskirk they have 22x11x8. I think I'm going to order those back 2 and just that cheap ass one for the front unless someone knows of any benefit of going with a nice front tire?
