Hey guys I bought a new 200s yesterday for only 175&it looks great, there's nothing there for the back brakes&the pull starter needed a little bit of tweaking. Now this is the problem there's no decompression cable&when I go to start it it feals like I'm gonna pull my arm out of socket&I've allready broke the rope,is there anything I can do?Please help.

i had the same problem with my old yt175, when you pull it, and it stops, it might mean that someone put the rewind in backwards.
You can pull the de-comp manually where the cable hooks up....Once you get a Feel for the motor and pull slowly till it gets hard...let it roll over a bit....then let the recoil re-wind and pull...Easier on the rope and you.

i can't imagine the timing is off but if it is, it can really hurt to pull or kick stuff.
You can manually flip the decomp lever but it resets itself every time.
Not sure I ever had one that worked correctly so someone else surely knows more than I do.

The decompression lever is supposed to reset itself every time. Otherwise you would have exhaust leaking out during the compression stroke whlie it was running, not a good thing!

I have the same thing on my 200s. I wonder if there are any left with the decomp hooked up. I pull it until it gets tight, let it rewind, then pull, just like stated above. Not really a problem once you have it running well. My girlfriend rides and starts it all the time. You just got to learn the "technique".
