Is Jetting Required? Stock head pipe and DG silencer on TriZ

Question: will I need to rejet? I am adding only a DG silencer to the stock Tri Z head pipe.

I don't know how it runs because I have not started it yet. I was just wondering

If your jetting is fine now, the DG Silencer will create no detectable carburetion changes. For that matter, neither will the whole DG exhaust.

I thought bigger jets were needed if you put the whole pipe on,i got 490 jet in mine,to go with pipe,filter etc,etc.The stock jets only a 420(?)

I know some Z's thats got upto 510 jet in them,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,personally though i stick with 470-490.

Sounds great TimSr. I still have not fired up that Tri Z yet...got busy on some other things...but I will take the advice.
