Well I was working on my brothers quad and I got done fixing the problem with steering, So i took it down the road for a little cool off and all of a sudeen when u go to give it the gas past 1/4 it bogs out and tries to die??? whats the problem, did it suck up dirt in the carb? If anyone knows can you please help me. --of course something goes wrong with a quad -_-

I had a similar problem to this on a 350x and it turned out to be the CDI going bad.

More info needed...like how did it run before you fixed the steering. What model is it? What year?

it ran perfectly.... its a 2005 kawasaki bayou

my throttle cable is real picky on how its routed , did you change the position of the cable at all ?

I hand a little grit in on of the jets on my 350x, it would idle fine but and rev fine until you put it in gear, I just cleaned the jet and it ran fine.
