hi

I would check your local laws since I've hear rumors that some need to be either disassembled OR CUT IN HALF to get across borders, and then your local motor vehicle registration people, if applicable.

There can be export laws depending on the country and import taxes for your country.

I bet ebay would be the best source for info.

If you 'pretend' you wanted a trike on ebay, they'll tell you what kinda of things you need to do..
shipping costs, restrictions etc.

First off...Find a local freight forwarder/customs broker and discuss with them what it is you want to do...The last thing you need is to have your new purchases sitting at the dock held up because you don't have the right paperwork or you needed to do something with the trike "before" it left wherever you find it...Lots of times they will have an agent in whatever country you find your trike in and can arrange transportation/export/import all through one company.

Petesatc (on here) is the man to talk to, he has quite a few come over to this side of the pond from the states... heres a link to his site... offroadvintage (http://http://www.offroadvintage.com/index.htm)

He's a top guy, very helpful, and if theres somethin your after, he can almost certainly get it
