Sand sports magazine that will be on shelves as of the 20th of this month is an atc special issue. This includes the Dumont 70s regatta and some other trick 70s. A two page article on my 450 is also in this issue, along with a write up on Little Sahara Waynoka.

Excellent! It is great to see the ATC on the front cover again! This could open a few eyes and be a new start.

A trike on the cover of a powersports magazine 24 years later? That's just epic! Well played sir.

Its hard to find on shelves....atleast around here. The only place I have seen it is at hastings. It does not actually get released until the 20th so keep a look out around that time. It should be readily available in duner areas, but here in the midwest not a huge market for it. The magazine is only released every other month and it is very well priced.
Thanks for the complements guys.

Awsome! I wanna build a atc 450r now! lol. Seriously though. I'd wanna build one of these out of a 2011 crf450r with a 600 kit.Or throw a 2011 crf450r motor with a 600cc bbk in a 86 350x. Now that would be COOL!

No worries guys, I love to post scans of 3 wheelers. When I got it in the mailbox I actually ran to the house to scan them.

I thought I would include our Midwest Rampage at the Little Sahara, OK dunes 2 years ago in April that was in Sand Sports magazine. It's every year in April.

Why would you think you need a 600 kit? I assume you havent even rode a 450 trike. Mine is high compression and stainless valves but other than that stock and it will scare you and is also impossible to keep the wheel on the ground in first. A 600 kit would make it unrideable unless you used an extreamly long swinger basically rendering it a full on drag bike, and thats just not as much fun as some think it is. More power than the 450 puts out is not necessary by any means. And If you were to do a conversion I would recommend using the trx transmission or the crf-x transmission. They are geared much better for a trike.

LOL I know how powerful those 450r dirt bikes are. They have alot of get n' go but I think they're just kinda slow. My friend has an 06 450 and has a toko carb mod with a fmf mega bomb header and fmf slip on on. Don't get me wrong it get's up and go's and is not for the timid, but I just think they're kinda slow for a ''newer'' 450.

thanks for the read! I really appreciate it.
as for the 450 not being fast enough....is anything ever fast enough? people will always ask for more till they crash and burn, then start all over. =P

I've seen this mag at my local Books A Million. I'll drop by there today and buy every copy they have, just in case someone on 3WW can't find a copy.
