I just recently purchased a 1986 honda atc 200x and need a new tank. I am sure alot of these questions have been asked before, so I apologize in advance. This is my first 200x by the way. I was wondering what people have done to repair them. Also, could I use 83-85 200x tank? If it would fit, would it still have a matching look? The tank my atc came with has no dents and looks great, but it has numerous pin holes. I started stripping the tank, and jb welding the pin holes since, I am scarred to braze, or TIG the pin holes since it has already been kreem coated. I bought new kreen coat for after I am done with the jb welding.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!-Jon

86 and 87 is the only tank you can use. Sounds to me like you already know how to repair them.

I wouldnt JB weld. Its a temporary fix at best, and I would return that Kreem Cote... Had it (kreem) lift in my BR tank and redid it with a Por-15 kit
