lost part tonite

lost what i believe to be transmission filler cap?? (left side screw in cap beside pull start) on my 84 200es while riding tonite. fluid was shooting everywhere and the cap was missing. looked all over trail, no success. Was wondering if that is what it is, and where i can buy a new one. Thanks!

is it between the pullstart and the jug? if it is, im pretty sure thats the hole you look though to see the timing marks on the flywheel. what type of fluid was flying everywhere?

yes. It looked and smelled like burnt oil.

Do a search...But i seem to remember someone saying a Stock one of a LTZ 400 or Similar Fit perfect...

dealership for sure could order it ,but if you have a good repair shop or other than honda dealer they should be able to order it.or order off a website.those are the right numbers for it so feel confident that your order will be the correct part
