i have an 84 big red. how do i take off the piece of plastic above the key switch that says honda so i can adjust the handlebars.

nevermind i got it fixed. the handlebars were bent down. so we bent them back up. i was ridin wheelies while goin uphill and i rolled it.

I know you said never mind, but in the future you might need to adjust the handlebars. I have a 83 185s,and I think you can remove yours the same way as I do on my trike.The little "Honda" plate can be removed by gently prying it up with a screwdriver. The plate is held in place by two small snap-clips.Be careful when prying it up, the plastic will probably not be as plyable as it was when it was new.After you get that off you will see the two bolts that hold the handlebar in place. :)
