Too add to the collection i just picked up this 86 200x a few nights ago. Mechanically this bike runs the best and most power of any 200x i have ever owned. I paid 600 for it. I plan on new front& rear fenders, seat cover, air filter and maybe a 350x headlight. I know the bike is rough for 600 but up here in canada you don't see to many 2nd gen x's around. Let me know whatcha guys think

Not a bad price if it runs good but just to let you know, Fullbore will making the headlight shells for the 86-87 200X, they are working on it as we speak. I just sent them a donor shell over a week ago.

the rear fender is held together by a baseboard cut into 2 foot pieces haha i am fortunate to have a really nice tank with only one small knee dent.

Looks like a great start. If it were mine I would trick it out with old school goodies.

Nice bike. The 86-87 x's are the best. And if you get lost overnight, you can use the baseboard for a campfire! My friend has a 185s with a 2x6 holding up the seat. classic.
