I guess it's not like you've never seen a 350X, but if I have chance to show it off to the world, I'm going to jump on the bandwagon!! It's nothing special. Still has the original engine from 1985. I've added few extras like a White Bros E-series, and a PRM 6-pack rack. It runs like a champ and never lets me down. Let me know what you think.

Looks like a solid 350x you got there. I bet that thing is a wheelie machine with those razr 2s. I have a set of them on my 400ex and they get TONS of traction almost too much i havent swapped them on my 350x yet. How do you like the way it handles them?

Nice ride. I was watching some atv's rip around the local pits the other day; I wondered how just such a machine would do against them? My bet is awesome.

Great question. I love these tires even though I ended up paying about 100 bucks a piece for them (which was a good deal at the time). They really do hook up well on the hardpack terrain and still slide very nice on softer terrain. They also go GREAT in the snow plus they wear really slow since there so hard. I was very weary at first but once I took them out on the trails, I instantly fell in love with them. They are 22s and I have no problem spinning and sliding with the stock gearing.
I still sometimes forget just how much power these things have when compared to the newer 400s and 450s. Just yesterday we were trail riding at Majestic Trails in Rew PA. I was riding with a group of TRX450s and even when those guys were going balls to the wall, I was keeping right up to them, but since I was on 3 wheels I had to work alot harder with the leaning and wheelie control if you know what I mean.;)

very nice, everyone should have their chance at "showing off" their machine.

That's a nice looking 350x. Those rear tires look awful big though. Get that head pipe cleaned up and ceramicoated and your 350x will really stand out. As for your seat. Talk to Tammy Mosh here on the boards. She recovers seats and does a really nice job. She did a 350x seat for me, but it is a Hi Flite extra thick desert seat. She can do from stock to custom. Reasonable prices too and a quick turn around time. Check her out.

It was basically cutting the old one off and sliding new one in and clamping it down. The midpipe was actaully an old cobra steel silencer. I just I eyeballed where I needed to cut the old silencer off and slid the white bros in.
As for the tires looking to big, I can aussure you it's just the way they look in the photograph. They are just about as big as the front tire itself.
It would be nice to have the headpipe done BUT basically all the studs and nuts have become big chunks of rust literally. There would literally be no way of taking them off without breaking off the studs and drilling holes for new ones, so i basically leave it alone until the day comes when i do have to worry about it.

So I added some updated pics with a new ceet cover and a "new" used front fender off eBay. Man I love using WD40 to shine the plastics and engine up!

That is a nice machine ya got there! Do you ride lots? I guy I know who raced honda's and worked on them, gave me the advice to put clear laminate over the stickers on the tank. It stops them from wearing off, it works really good I dit it to mine. Since all stickers were originals, what I did was I just didn't Put it on the side stickers, I put it on the whole side the part that's flat so the paint didn't Wear off. Just thought would share the advice to ya it worked for me since I ride lots.

I agree, I love these tires. Alot of people think the Razr2s are to aggresive. IMO I really dont have any problems sliding side to side. Sure on the hard pack stuff, it's a bit tougher. But great all around traction especially during hill climbs and mud pits. Plus I have no trouble turning 22s either. I am thinking about trying some 20s if I get a good deal on a used set of rims and tires.
Yooperman, thats good advise. I'm pretty much a weekend rider as long as it's not raining or I'm not out on the GSXR, but I may look into your advise. Thank you. Thanks for the comments.
