I need to know the amount and wieght of fork oil for an '86. I have the '85 service manual but since those are smaller forks I wouldn't think it would be the same.

Dave, my book says. fork oil 10wt or sae 10w motor oil
14.7 imp oz, 13.9 us oz
also says retorque top cap to 17 ft-lb
also says that air pressure is 0 psi standard to 8.5 psi max

You can run different weight oil in the forks to set them up for your weight and riding style. I'm currently using 15wt oil in my forks.
