Well, my 3 month project is done. I bought two R's back in June and have spent the last 3 months in the garage. I tore em both apart and was able to make a complete trike. These are some of the before pics. After pics to follow. Let me know what you guys think. It's not perfect, but I think it came out pretty good.

Thanks Bud! I'm happy with it. I finished it two weeks ago, rode it around the yard and it wouldn't downshift. I had to tear it apart and found one of the ratchet shifter plunger springs was broke. I pulled one from the other motor and now she's good to go. Tomorrow will be the first time I take her out on the trails and see what happens.

Thanks again. I've got about $1000 in her between parts and the two parts bikes. Not too bad. Still need a chain slider. I do have about 300 hours of labor in it though....Let's see, if my time is worth $20 an hour, I guess I'm upside down....Oh well. I'm not selling her anyway!

More pics of the build.

They're Cheng Shin?? Came with one of the parts quads. They remind me of the old turf tamers.

Thanks Guys. I just got back from her first ride. I put about 50 miles on her and she ran perfect. I really expected something to loosen up and I thought I would have to make a trail repair, but everything went great. Got her back home, cleaned her up and put her back in the garage.
