Got a call from a local towing/body shop today and they asked me if I was interested in a Honda trike that they towed for the RCMP the other day. Found abandoned in a field? Cops can't find any previous registered owner. They just want it out of their yard. I was definitely interested and went to see them. It is an 82 200 Big Red and has had a few parts stripped off it. The only parts that may be good are:
the front forks
the gas tank is dented but rust free
the rear rack and grab bar are good
the rear tires (Wolly Buggers) appear to be good although flat right now
the handlebars seem straight

They are looking to recoup the towing costs - $150.00

Are any of the aforementioned parts in demand? I'd hate to let it go to salvage if fellow forum users could benefit.

Motor is there but covered in oil, no pull start to even turn it over. The rear plastic is UV faded and has some damage around the holes where the rack goes through. Not too bad considering the rough life it must have had.

take a long screw driver and turn it over
