I just bought a Honda 1984 Big Red 200ES. I set the tire pressure that was printed on the tires. At that pressure they really feel 'underinflated'. Any comments or tips of tire pressure amounts?
Thanks to all.

the tires feel under inflated because they are desighned to be the suspension.

that "under inflated" feeling is a good thing. It will soak up roots, rocks and bumps. Also - you will gain significant traction in low traction areas such as mud or loose gravel.

Thanks to all for your wonderful comments, tips, and info. It was indeed a different feeling 'shifting' around on those tires1
I did download the full manual, all 72 pages. It said to inflate to 2.6 psi. I think I might give the 5 psi a shot to try it out.
I bought the Big Red about 2 months ago for $600. With the exception of a hairline crack on the front bumper and a small dent on the gas tank, it's in pristine shape. I already have refinished the front and rear racks with 'crinkle' paint. I'll post pictures soon.
Thanks again.

its your trike and to each there own but why crinkel paint...cant wait to see the pics. and i found the best thing for the back tires is to run them low but when your not on it slide a paint can under the back end to keep the tires from getting that flat spot. mine leak so if i keep pressuer off of them then its not a issue.
