Hi
Ive owned a 200x for the last year and about 2 months ago I bought a 250r to add to the collection. The 250r had been completely disassembled and the guy who owned it was a painter at the local hanger so all parts have been plated and painted.I've got myself a manual and I'm going thru and putting it back together now.The flywheel side crank bearing had spun on the crank so the crank journal was well worn.I've measured/disassembled the crank, got the journals chromed and ground them now I have to put it back together(with new conrod etc)so heres the question

Does anyone know the factory tolerance for the crank width?

I know what I measured it at before I pulled it apart but I'd like to know whta its actually meant to be.If I put it back the same width it was I'll have 0.22mm conrod side play and thats close to the bottom limit.

Any help would be much appreciated.

the overall crank width is determined by the rod side play.. set the rod clearance where you like, true it, and run it
