Just wanted to share some pictures of my tecate. I was in the process of stripping all the parts back down to green as they were painted white before but found the front fender and tank had some nasty discoloring so I went with matte black. Decided to repaint the pipe too, used the crinkle paint turned out pretty cool looking. Anyone have an idea to what brand the pipe might be? I'm not overly concerned just curious im pretty sure its not stock. Just a couple more small things and she should be ready for some fun!

That tecate looks pretty good black. I think it makes it look meaner then they already do. Seen some 250R's and some 350x's that look pretty sweet also. Nice ride ya got there

I've got a DG national pipe on my 84 (there are some new ones on eBay) going to get another for my 85, they have an improvement over stock and they look pretty nice to boot...

The pipe almost looks like a DG, but skinnier. Possibly another tune type?

Black does look cool. Is that a stock spring?

Thanks for the good comments guys, I think its turning out pretty well. I'm trying to go over it all and fix the little things that were kinda half a**ed over the past 25 years. The only big things it needs is new swing arm bearings and tires. Besides that its a pretty complete trike and its mostly only little stuff. It has a new top end on it bored .30 over with some mild porting so she should scoot along nicely. As for the rear spring I'm not sure if its aftermarket or what, it was on there when I got it. I'll be sure to get some pics when she's all back together, maybe even some action shots.
