200x stator coil(exciter) ?

i can't locate my manual at the moment due to our move so if someone could tell me or send me the specs.for the stator coil on a 83-85 200x

if i remember correctly it was 12-15 ohms or 15 to 18 ohms for a good one
am i close or way off?

Exciter Coil, the exciter coil is normal if there is continuity between the black/red whire and body ground, RESISTANCE: 100-400 ohms

thats strait from the book, dont realy need pics as thats all it has

also hows that motor running? is it nice and quick?

as for the motor i blew the headgasket and front tire the last time i rode,my new 80 over piston got ruined ???(wrist pin locked up and had to litteraly beat it out),so back to stock bore until... i get the newest piston and i hope to be picking up my head next weekend.
then maybe i can put it all back together again.

i borrowed a meter from my neabor i was reading 114ohms or 1.14kohms.on the stator whiile checking some spares i found 1 that was 163 ohms ..i used that 1 i also found one broken wire(blk/red) so i just added 1 to the harness no sweat there.if that wasn't the prob then i need some more specks like ohms for the cdi box,pulse generator, and the main coil(mounted to frame plug wire goes on it )
