I have never rebuilt my front forks and have no idea where to start. I have a 87' Big Red 250es. They are bottoming out and don't seem to have much resistance. I am sure they need rebuilt. First question:

1. Is there a kit to rebuild them?
2. Can anyone direct me to a link or tell me step by step how to rebuild them(I searched the threads, but no luck...)?

Pics would be great as well if anyone has them for the process.

Thanks a million!

Start with the service manual... They are really easy to rebuild.... I used the never leak fork seals on mine, and seem to be working well...

It is a 87. I got lucky and scooped it up. I found another one, but it was sold before I could get to it:(

Thorpe: Thanks for the info!
