Not much interchanges with your X....somethign like 83 250R does but those are about it. Just take yours to a machine shop and have it straightened.

He's got 7 and the ad is always up, has been for the last year and a half. I'm pretty sure the hub splines are the same. You can also use 400EX hubs for about 2 inches more width on the rear. The bolt pattern is the same for both.

i know but i think 160 is to pricey plus to ship to Canada would be a killer, but even thinking about just getting this one straightened i don't know if its even worth trying to do i mean its only a small wobble but you can sure feel it riding on the road

I'm goin to have to keep an eye on those too. Been lookin for an extended axle for a while now. The wheel spacers Im runnin seem to give a bit of a wobble at higher speeds.

Trikes aren't a cheap hobby, get a mountain bike and start pedaling :D

Thats a great price and a great looking axle, coated and extended - I grab one in a second if I had a job..............

My local machine shop was gonna charge me 30 bucks to straighten mine.

if its a good brand of axle, 160$ is a real good price for a brand new +5.5 axle...if you dont believe that, check out what a durablue eliminator +4 goes for...i realize they probably dont have one for your X, but you get the point

You will pay $160+ for a NOS stock axle. For a 200X extending the width makes all the difference.

I'm pretty sure that pic is stock width, the wider pic is a broken link somehow.

well last night i took the axle off and brought it to the shop today to get straightened, see the thing is im going broke im spending way to much on this this and a new axle now is just out of the question seeing as i have ran out of money for now, so am i going to be looking at perfectly straight axle now? or is it probably still going to be bent a bit??

Depends how bad its bent and were its bent . If they know what their doing they should be able to get it straight enough were you wont notice it .

well the bend is pretty bad, but its about in the middle from the hub and the swinger on the right side

obijuan

The bent axel also (depending on side) stretches your chain and messes up your front sprocket. It will also lopside your tire with wear & wear on your bearings. It's tolerable, but a couple of hundred dollars is cheap to fix a little 4-stroke, and when I pulled a strait axel off my parts bike it made a total difference in comfort. These gentlemen are correct, a fancy new axle for under $200, a durablue is $300+ for a 2-stroke and yeah, my wobble drove me nuts too. & be careful even if they straiten it, it loses it's tensile strength and is more susceptible to bending later so take it easy.

TrikemanATC200x

well it was on the right side so it didn't mess the chain or anything on that side up, but i also checked my bearings for wear and there fine theres no play or anything, but i also got new tires coming in so that fixes that problem, and im not ruff on my machines i just like to go fast up and down the road and in the fields around my house.

Yup, alot of folks get touchy if ya want to ride a trike when it's not 100%, but I sometimes don't have the cash to do every expensive repair and have to have me and the kids trikes run on more heart than parts at times. And they are pretty durable, so take your time and wait for a member to part an x (I had a parts trike I happen to find for cheap) and it will be cheap to fix. Also, as you mentioned, they are for recreation, to ride and have fun, trails and dirt are bumpy, so use em' as much as one can.

yeah, i just don't like the fact of buying used, as stated shipping to Canada is a killer, and i really don't have that kind of money so what if i spend $150 for a bent axle im in the hole again.
