Super clean and super nice but it's an 85 not an 86.

Swingarm is def. 85 and I have never seen a rear RED shock (black or blue) and such a shiney tube, it may have had some work done to it?

I did not buy it but did help broker the purchase :cool: It would be only so much fun in the dunes :p It is not 100% original but was a very fair price considering the condition.

This SX is so clean, it needs very little and is surprisingly fast with a round slide Keihin and Supertrapp exhaust. I put a little compound polish wax on the tank and it looks new. This will make the trip in November to Glamis----- maybe even the Invasion.......then Curtis will take it back east to become a mud dawg

many thanks to mike and jeremy for putting this deal together.this will fit into my collection nicely.this trike will be babied and kept in the condition it is in.not many trikes in my neck of the woods that look like this.I cant wait to see and ride it myself.

I like it. Very clean. Does the Super Trap exhaust help it with power or just a sound effect? I have a rough looking mechanically sound 250sx that I don't mind taking through the trails but eventually I might do some upgrades for performance and looks, not too nice though as I want to ride it!

I cant speak to the supertrap doing anything for the preformance of the bike, because it also has a larger bore carb, but it is a healty motor and very wheelie happy.


Mike, don't forget to tarp it with a bucket of water under there for humidity to keep everything supple:D

It did end up going to fla2stroke, Curtis. Last I heard he rode it one time at his riding spot, quickly realized it was not worth it since he has other trikes to ride and detailed it and parked it. I do not hear from him anymore so I am not sure of its fate at this point.

It was a stunning machine for sure, so I hope its tucked away and being taken care of and the mud dawg comment was me joking around.

Wow...I just drool over that thing. Back when I was a kid the 85 machine was the coolest. It was the pinnacle of technology back in the day. I never cared for the '86 as such. But the '85 was killer. Love that machine!
