Hey guys I am new to the forum but not the bike world. After years of nagging my friend I got him to sell me his tri moto. It sat for about 4 years without any use. I got it running but the front wheel bearings are shot need to be changed before any damage is done. I can't seem to get the axle out. I have the cotter pin out and the nut off of it. The axle spins in the forks with ease it just won't back out. Is there a trick anyone knows to help me out?
thanks

Can you put a block of wood against it and tap it with a hammer while you turn?

I'm not sure how these are put together, but I'm thinking the inner race or spacer between the bearings may be seized to the axle and that's what's preventing it from moving laterally.

I've got the same problem with one of my 225's. I've even beat on it with a sledge hammer and it wouldn't budge. I'm gonna try using a bench press when I get a chance.

Can you loosen the triple clamp and slide one fork out of the way to allow removal of the wheel and axle assembly so you can work on it off the trike?
