2005 Honda TRX250EX silencer on a 350X ?

i been looking for something local and cheap to get me buy. guy wants $35 and in the pic it looks like its in decent shape. so, obviously im wondering if it'll be ok to run on my 350x. silly thing is that im runnin a 2 stroke dg pipe right now. im pretty sure sure itll be alright, just making sure as to not ruin the valves, or whats left of em

^ Me too and with the HRC tip and lid of it grabbed more power everywhere......

They can be had for 9.99$ if your timing is right.

Ask him to measure the inside diameter of the pipe though. Our 350X's are spot of but you may have a bit smaller headpipe, being a 250EX; You can measure your headpipes ends OD.......

There is usually some bending/cutting/welding and mounting fab work to be done when using another model. Or, you get lucky and it drops right in......

If I were you, I'd put out a wanted ad in your area on Craigslist or something like that for a 450 silencer. I've put a few on various 350X's, and they work great. You should be able to get one for free if you ask around. You have to make a mid pipe, and will need to relocate the brake rezzy, but it's not a big deal. I usually cut off the mount and reweld it on the other side with a longer hose. Just look for someone you know who has a 450 and put a pipe on it, chances are they have it laying around and dont' want it.
