witch is faster>?
what is the difference other then brand?
if someone was to give you either one free witch would you chose and why??

Jeez...whats with the this vs. that posts lately....

The Tecate is faster in a straight drag, but I would bet anything that the R is faster everywhere else (trails, woods, etc..)

If someone were to give me one for free (yeah right) I would have to take the R. I love Honda's, especially the 250R. OEM and Aftermarket parts are easier to come by for the R, and I think it handles much better than the Tecate.

I'm pretty sure KTM didn't make a Tecate 250.

Thanks Aaron...the answers are: 1, it depends on the rider.........2,i believe you are refering to a honda vs a kawasaki(never heard of a ktm tecate)....3,that is a no brainer.........HONDA 250R IS THE BEST TRIKE EVER MADE....BAR NONE.....

I've owned both the Kawasaki Tecate and 250R. The Tecate was a little faster in a straight line, but I like the suspension/handling of my 86 250r better, so I sold the Tecate :D

I wish they made a KTM tecate, that'd be one hell of a machine!

Althogh come to think of it what would happen if you took a tecate and a ktm trail bike and put them in a dark room! :D j/k .......................or am I

I think they are just getting confused with them Ducati 3 wheelers. those things were scary fast! :shock:
