Okay well I just got done pushing my X almost 2 miles  The freaking clutch cable broke while I was out on the trail, I just purchased this clutch cable 4 months ago I think its OEM, So I was wondering what aftermarket clutch cables are good?

If it only lasted 4 months, you must not have had it routed correctly, or it was rubbing on something to last such a short while... Why didnt you push it down a hill in neutral, and kick it into gear and ride it home? Rode my CR250 back like that after breaking a clutch lever before...

could have been to tight. When you pulled it all the way did your clutch lever touch your grip? i have my clutch on my klt set so it just barely touches the grip so i know im not too tight.

I dont know i just bought an oem one that fits my motor. I bought a motion pro but it was wrong one and it looked a little thinner than the oem one.

2 would be a good idea and if theres somewhere on your trike whare you could store the spare that would probablly be really good. just in case.

Motion Pro cables do work, especially if your clutch cable mounting bracket is in the right place....

BTW, you could have ridden it home just fine without the clutch. Might not be the best thing in the word, but it does work.

I have ridden my dirtbikes, trikes, street bikes without clutches in a pinch... Its no problem to shift without the clutch, just dont stop!
