Hey guy's weel i had my bike running great , thanks to everyone's help on here. Well my cusin was ridding it and he fell and the bike kinda hit hard well not so hard but you know. After that we tried starting it and nothing it wasnt starting. I checked the fuel line and everything good, so we tried jumstaring it and it started up. I had to also change the pull start mechanism to one from a atc90 because i tore the one it had from pulling it lot's of times. Any way's i was able to start it by pulling it but only after it's been running for awhile, so in other words if i "jump start it" the i run it for a while then i turn it off i am able to turn it on by pull start. This really sucks because i can't ride it when im by my self what could it be thanks in advance for everyones help.

is the new pull start working properly. it needs to be warmed up in order to start right now with pull cord so that means by jump starting it its spinning fast enough to start but the pull cord is not spinning it fast enough to get it going when cold.
if the pull cord is spinning the engine as fast as the other then i would change the plug, i have had that happen to me a few times.
do the 79s have points? i dont know much about points, maybe its the points and someone can chime in.
but every time this happens to me its a bad plug

change the plug anyways. if its a spark plug with a resistor it could be going bad u can tell if its a resistor plug if its got a R on the porclein or befor or after the #/ letters. if that dont help clean the carb and go from there. i have a 110 that will start with a 5 inch pull cord. :) new plug and well tuned carb.
