82 atc200 help

so i got the trike from the farm and the pull string was bad so i took off the pull start and come to find out they had rust partitcles around the magnet so how do i knot if the rotor and the stator is still good with out putting back all the parts and try to turn it over i would like to find out now before i put it all back together thanks matt

you can push start it,put in third and push baby push

it does not have a clutch i do not know if the stator is good bc it had rust looks like moister got in it and has white flakes wih the rust

You can pull the flywheel and stator and clean them, or put it back together. Recoil is just 4-7 bolts. Or just put rope on the recoil cage mounted to flywheel and pull.

well i got the pull rope all put back together and tomorrow i will see if the stator is bad tomorrow i will keep yall posted

so i put the pull starter back together and i took the plug out and put it against the block and i pull the rope and guess what the stator works. bc the plug has a nice blue spark thank you guys for all the help yall gave me
