400ex head pipe on 350x will they work

I'm looking for a bigger head pipe for my 350x puller and was woundering if a 400ex head pipe will work on a 350x and if they do how much farther do they stick out than the 350 pipe

Why do you want a bigger pipe?

the honda Oem head pipe is about the best flowing pipe you can get. Unless you have some big porting and larger valves its not needed.

BUT to answer your question, No a 400ex head pipe wont just bolt on. You must cut, weld and grind to make it fit. It is easy if you have the skills to do it. I have put 400ex systems on the 350x's many many times. after the 2 pipes merge you have to cut and grind, tto pull the back of the pipe up a hair to clear the rear section of the engine.
