hey, kinda of a stupid question but what size socket do you use to take the oil drain plug on a 85 honda 200x?

Try a couple until you get one that fits. Always works for me.

the thing is i dont have the size, so if i have to go buy one im not sure what the size is

Drain plug is 24mm

hey this is kinda dumb question but im wondering what type of oil i should use for my honda atc 110 1983 and i live in california so its never cold or hot if the whether has something to do with it

Honda GN4. you can get it at any of your local honda dealers. Or Yamaha's yamalube

I'm in the same boat here. I don't have a socket bigger than 19MM. So, before I go buy one I checked here and found this thread. WILL THE 24MM FIT THE 83 200E ALSO?????

When I can't find my &^%$ tools, I just tip the trike, pour it out the fill tube and pour some new oil in.
It seems better to have clean oil than not.
So many people run things out of oil because it's low or dirty and they were 'gonna change it soon anyway' and never do.

i changed mine the other day and the tool that i had wouldnt fit past the frame, so i used vise grips. also, since i couldnt quite get the leverage needed to open the plug, i tapped the vise grip with a hammer so that it would loosen. hope this helps.
