I found a unmolested all original(including tires) 85 200x a few months back. I talked to the owner the other day and she is going to sell it now.
She wants $1300 firm. Even know its all original and clean I dont know if it would be worth that price. I was thinking $1000 tops.
Just curious what you guys think the value is?
I know you all want pics, but the pics I took to show a buddy have been deleted from my phone. Take my word for it, the trike was nice.

If it's in immaculate condition with papers, I'd say so.

seems steep to me , you could get a bigger faster machine for that money still in real good shape but i guess it also depends on what you want to do with it , rider , show piece ? if i spent even a g note on a 200X i want it to run with a 250r or 350x

Even 6 months ago an excellent 200x was only $750 or so. Now with the poor economic situation much less. If she decided to sell it because she needs the cash, now is not the market and it was never worth $1300. It's a 200x and they are a dime a dozen, they are not a sought after collectors item. Not to be a jerk, but if she's thinkin' of big $ she won't get it. If she is in trouble, wait till it comes down to $500 or so, there are too many out there for that. Mine isn't worth anything so I'm parting it out for my kids two x's and a buddy needs the motor. More valuable to build up other trikes than sell out right. Heck, Tecates and Tri-z's are being found for less than half of that and runners at that.

If I got it, it would be for my 7yr old son when he got older. Bike was very sweet and I had a 85 200x when I was in my teens. Maybe it just brings back fond memories. I would have bought it in a heart beat if it was $500.

My 200x was $1698.00 in 85 with Hondaline headlight and master cylinder guard included. I agree that $1300 is too high. Thats why I was asking for other members opinions. I know what a 350x or R is worth. Even 70's and Big reds. Never pay much attention to the 200x's anymore.
Thanks for all the input.
Maybe she will find she cant move it and I can get it for cheap lol.

Don't buy, too much. I would say $800 tops.
