i have i think a 1983 atv250r [not all that many came to nz] my problem is the bike runs out of power shortly after entering the power band [ so i rebored new piston rings etc] still does same thing sent stater away for rewind [suspected high speed coil] still does same thing the wireing loom is a bloody mess thats my next stop so has ne body got a picture\diagraim i cou;d have a look at and why do they have such a small carb [my 84 cr is huge compared to it] thanks for ne help u can give me

Have you checked your spark plug to see what color it is? I had the same problem with my Tecate this weekend and I was jetted 3 steps to rich. That's my guess
