Well i finally got to ride it today, carb was dialed in pretty close too. Pretty good since the carb didnt come on the bike. Thought I still had a no spark issue but it turned out that it's hard to see spark in the sunlight. Kicked it over in the shed and saw my little blue friend jumping to life.

Bike is a beast, tons of power, lots of compression, but the worst suspension of any bike I have ever ridden. forks need new seals and oil, and the shock needs to be recharged. But all in all I am pretty happy that I actually got to ride.

so far with the cost of the bike and parts, I am into the bike for just over $800, not bad I would say. Just gotta get new plastics since mine are painted and get the suspension redone, should be into the bike for about a grand.:p

can't believe that I forgot to put down what it is. it's an 85 250R, 4" extended swinger, polished clamps/tree, FMF pipe and silencer. I should maybe get some pics up after this weekend, but she isn't that pretty and the white fenders look terrible with a red tank, light guard and shrouds, but the blue seat is almost in perfect condition. still has the original tires and rear wheels, came with a set of hauler paddles too.
