I am sure someone will dirrect me to the jetting 101 page or tell me to "start rich" but it just want a GOOD base line.
Here is what I got: 83 250r light bore, boyesen reeds, k+n, and new a dg pipe/ silencer and 34mm carb to replace the stockers. Seems to be a normal set up. Oh i live on the Oregon coast at sea level and ride on the dunes, they are only 300ft away. With stock pipe and pe 30 carb i was a 128 main and 50 slow, one under stock on the main. I am putting the dg pipe/ silencer and pj34mm carb on my bike this week and want to know what others did for jetting. Don't think im just going to follow your jetting and run my bike and blow it up and say " but you said...." I plan to do a plug check and really dial it in. Just like to learn more and learn from others advice, mistakes are spendy. Thanks alot!

When I had a 34mm carb on my 83R I ended up with 60 slow and around a 155 main and that was at sea level

Thanks, I was looking at anything from a 48/ 152 to a 55/ 170, but I think 52/ 155 is where i will probly end up.
