Guy says bike has hardly ever been rode and nothing has ever been done to it , Look at the rear fenders they look aftermarket to me. What do you guys think. I know would'nt bid that high without better pics of bike.

Looking at the pics it does look like a fairly well kept machine (or decent restoration?). I don't think the motor is repainted, unless he found someone to custom mix the charcoal grey engine paint. I haven't found a good match for that yet. I do find it a bit odd that the trike has a nice set of tank decals, and appears to have a front fender decal, but has none on the rear fenders. I can't tell if the rear fenders are factory or Maier from the pics, but I'm thinking replacements either way. I would definately ask for better pics before bidding it up any higher.

the fenders apear to be stock. the 86 250R had a "differant" Honda red that has never been duplicated again not by Honda or any aftermarket. as a side note, he states the 250R has been riden very little and i think that is acurate. if you look at the rear veiw pic. the rear wheel width is narrow. this is due to the factory wheel spacers are on the outside of the hubs. this is how they came stock. almost everybody would put those spacers on the inside to widen the stance 2". i doubt this 250r was riden hard or very much.

Man.... the seller lives 20 minutes form me. We keep playing phone tag about 350X parts. Mandable8 just had on a 350X for ~$1200. I was amazed the bike went that high.
Here's the link for the 350X he sold....

He has had clean bikes and nice parts for sale in the past. He has had a couple other fine 350X's for sale this summer and other parts.

maybe its true that this bike was ridden very little..........it seems to me that he just put it together..........look at his feedback on ebay.....he has recently purchased many parts for 85-86 250r....my 2 cents

Thats a stock fender. Look at the molding around the kick starter. All aftermarket fenders are rounded there, and not in a line like the stock ones were.

That looks like a nice and clean 250r to me
and maybe he has more than 1 250r and thats why he is buying parts
wouldnt that be a shock owning more than one of the :D same machine

I'm unsure about the guy, I bought a rear master from him, said it worked great. I got it yesterday and it was seized up and the inlet was packed with dirt. I emailed him nicely and he offered to refund my money if I sent the part back. So I did, So I'd be a little leary.
