Did you remove the bearing carrier from the frame , had to ask LOL . Just use a long socket extension or rod and tap them out from the opposite side of each other .

Remove the brake arm and rod and the 3 long bolts holding the carrier in and turn it out from the bottom of the frame .

ok, so I just got the bearing carrier off the machine , and of course, the bearings do not want to leave their comfy little home! any suggestions on things to try to get them out?

I use 2 short pieces of 2X4 wood and lay the carrier flat on the wood so the bearings have room to slide out from the bottom . Your gonna have to knock them out from the back side of each other with a rod or even a decent size screw driver and a hammer just move the center spacer so it hooks on the bearing . Dont be afraid just smack them out you cant hurt them if their worn out LOL .

Are you hitting them from the inside out . I have never seen a 90/110 carrier fight me removing the bearings .

Bigger hammer lol. look inspect possibly need some penatrating lube . It does require a nice solid hit but it shouldnt be all the hard .

The carrier is aluminum... if you lightly heat the carrier evenly with a torch, it will expand quickly. The bearings are steel and take longer to heat up and expand. Also, put your new bearings in the freezer overnight... they will shrink slightly and drop right into a heated up carrier. Worked like a charm on my 350x.
