so i just a buaght a honda atc 110 for 50 its a barnfind it came with a extra engine the one on it now has spark but wont start need help with that but this guy must have left gas in it for 5 years just to sit its all gummed up and rusted i need and quick way to fix this thanks!:wonderingtrailprotrailpro


** Update ** i also need to know how to get the top of the spark plug cap out of my spark boot it stripped so i cant get out **

either more gas with BB shot to derust, then Thorpe's idear, or use Muriatic acid and Kreem, they will get out the nasty gas and etch the steel inside.

White Vinegar works well for removing rust as well.

follow Thorpe's link, POR15 has a product that bonds to the rust and metal and seals the inside of the tank forever...

i buaght some evapo rust from o riellys its availble at autozone and harbor frieght for 19.99 a gallon or 8.99 a quart my gas tank is brand new now

Just repaired an 84 BR tank using the three part POR 15 system; Marine Clean, Metal Ready and US Standard Fuel Tank Sealer. Worked great! Cure time is recommended for 96 hours.
