Not getting any spark and have ohm'd the wire. Not getting but a tiny tiny bit of continuity through it. I am sure it is the original cable and probably needs replacing so i am starting here.

Question is, do I have to buy or find one off of ebay or something like that ($40 plus $20 shipping is crazy) or is there any place like Auto Zone who can make one for you? Thanks.

It should be a short or very close to it. Make sure the battery in your multimeter is good. If the wire still tests very high resistance, pull the spark plug terminal off the end of the wire and check the wire and the terminal seperately - I had a bad plug terminal on one of my trikes that drive me nuts for several hours until I figured it out.

You can use any spark plug terminal end, just crimp it to the conductor in the plug wire, sleeve the junction with a piece of heat shrink, and that should do it.
